Gresham is proud to announce that the Small Business Grant Program, made available through funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), is available for applications now through February 28. The Small Business Grant Program awards funding for Gresham businesses with 25 employees or less who were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, with an emphasis on BIPOC, women-, and veteran- owned businesses.

“The pandemic has had a detrimental impact on small businesses,” said City Manager Nina Vetter. “By awarding $250,000 of the $500,000 total grant funding available to BIPOC, women-, and veteran- owned small business, we hope to be able to revitalize our local economy as well as support the transformative role entrepreneurship plays in a community.”
Businesses who wish to apply must have the following:

- 25 or fewer employees
- Be based within Gresham city limits
- Have an active Gresham business license
- Rent, lease, or mortgage payments
- Employee recruitment and retention
Grants will be awarded on a lottery basis, up to $10,000 per grant for a total of $500,000 awarded.
