Gresham Chase Leads To Arrest Of Washington Escaped Inmate
A man who escaped from custody in Washington is back in custody after a chase in Gresham on Wednesday.
GRESHAM, OR — A man that officials say escaped from a corrections facility in Washington State is back in custody. Deputies from the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office arrested the person Wednesday morning after a chase in Gresham.
While the sheriff's office has not yet released many details, officials said that the person was driving when spotted by deputies who tried to stop the car.
The driver to get away, leading deputies to use spike strips on the car to bring it to a halt, officials said.

With at least one flat tire, the car stopped by Southwest 11th Avenue and Ivory Loop.
The driver, a 39-year-old man, was arrested. Other details, including the man's name, have not been released.
