Gresham Murder Under Investigation After Man Found Shot In Chest

Gresham detectives responded to two shootings Thursday night. One of them was a murder on the 2400 block of Southeast 182nd Avenue.

GRESHAM, OR — Early Friday morning, calls to 911 said that there'd been a shooting in a parking lot on the 2400 block of Southeast 182nd Avenue. Officers arrived and found a man shot in the chest.

He was rushed to OHSU where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives say it was murder.

They have not released the name of the victim or any information about possible suspects.

It was the second shooting of the night.

Around four hours earlier, others officers arrived on the 200 block of Southeast 188th Avenue. A man there was found shot in the leg and chest.

That vicim had been shot in the leg and chest. He was taken first to Mount Hood Medical Center and then Emanuel Hospital.

No information about the victim's identity or possible suspects.
