Oregon COVID-19 Cases Close In On 370,000, Deaths Approach 4,400

The Oregon Health Authority reported 2,569 new cases over the weekend along with 5 new deaths.

GRESHAM, OR —The Oregon Health Authority released its new report tallying the weekend cases of COVID-19, the number of deaths, and hospital capacity. If there's good news t be gleaned from it, it's that there are more adult ICU and non-ICU beds available. Slightly.

The state says that when tallied together, the state's hospitals are only at 91 percent capacity in both categories. While that may not seem good, it's more capacity than they have had in recent weeks.
