Oregon COVID-19 Deaths Surpass 4,300, Hospitals Still Straining
The state, which last week disclosed more than 500 missed deaths, adds the state's database was down for 24 hours Friday into Saturday.
GRESHAM, OR — There was not a lot of good news from the Oregon Health Authority's COVID-19 update on Tuesday. Whether it was deaths, total cases, or open beds in hospitals, there was room for improvement.
There were 23 new deaths, bringing the total to 4,318. Another 1,557 cases, bringing the total to 361,240.
Only 7 percent of the state's adult ICU beds are available and only 6 percent of the non-ICU beds are open.
