- City of Lake Oswego: The first stop to discovering and understanding what's going on in your area is to explore platforms used by local government, a comprehensive directory of subjects stretching from the Lake Oswego Farmers Market to trash and leaf collection, from sports signup through the recreation department to documentary screenings.
- Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce: The Chamber of Commerce of a given community advocates for and works toward the community's economic vitality. It serves as a network of small businesses and other employers at the city, county and state levels. It is a resource for the community and the region as well as the voice of commerce.

- Arts Council of Lake Oswego: The Arts Council serves as a tool to expand arts programming throughout the city. According to the council's website, the group manages the city's art collection, both permanent and rotating, and provides a number of additional programs and services that promote the visual arts throughout Lake Oswego.
- Lake Oswego Preservation Society: The Lake Oswego Preservation Society is a resource for guidance and support for preservation opportunities. It collaborates with local municipalities in order to strengthen recognition of historic resource status and the opportunities such status provides while building a resource network for alternatives to demolition. The Preservation Society also serves as an outreach for focus groups aligned with sustainable communities.

- Lake Oswego Schools Foundation: The mission of the Lake Oswego Schools Foundation is simple: sustain the tradition of outstanding schools in Lake Oswego. Nearly 4,000 donors donated more than $1.7 million to the foundation in 2016, and with this donation, the school district has minimized funding issues that have caused neighboring districts to cut teachers, reduce programs and cope with large class sizes.
