Armed Robber Arrested 1 Week After Escaping Police
Jacob Bundy got away from Oregon City police after he allegedly robbed a Fred Meyer March 14, but he couldn't hide forever.

OREGON CITY, OR — A Hillsboro man suspected of armed robbery in Oregon City earlier this month was arrested by Portland police Thursday and turned over to Oregon City law enforcement.

Bundy fled in a silver Nissan Cube before police arrived, but officers tracked him down a short while later traveling north on Interstate-205 near Gladstone.
The officer tried to pull over Bundy, but he wasn't having it and instead chose to lead police on a chase into Portland; Bundy was able to ditch his car near Southeast 93rd Avenue and Southeast Duke Street — roughly 11 miles north of the Fred Meyer — and successfully escape on foot.

Portland police on March 22 found and arrested Bundy, who incidentally has a considerable criminal history rife with charges for assault, possession of various controlled substances, menacing, and harassment.
