Clackamas Sheriff Arrest Man They Say Cut Two With Knife On MAX
Deputies say that they arrested a man who was drunk and being held by several people.
OREGON CITY, OR — Two men were cut by a man stabbing at them with a knife while along the MAX train's Green Line. Neither was seriously injured. They were examined at the scene and refused further medical attention.
It happened Friday evening at the platform on Southeast Sunnyside Road.

Deputies arrived at the scene and quickly saw a man being held by several people who they say witnessed the attack.
At least one suggested that the attack might have been racially motivated.

The sheriff's office says that the person they arrested was intoxicated when they found him. He's now being held at Clackamas County Jail, charged with assault and bias crimes.
