Driver Crashes Into 14 Vehicles At Oregon City Shopping Center: Police

​A man was hospitalized and charged with driving under the influence after hitting vehicles in the Southridge into 14 cars Thursday evening.

OREGON CITY, OR — A man is in the hospital recovering injuries sustained when he crashed his truck into 14 vehicles at the Southridge Shopping Center on Thursday evening, according to Oregon City police.

Police said they received calls around 5:30 p.m. saying that a white work truck was crashing into vehicles. Police said they found the man inside his truck and that he was injured.

The man, whose name has not been released, was hospitalized, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence, reckless endangering and reckless driving.

The Clackamas County District Attorney's Office will determine whether to bring the case before a grand jury.

There were no other reported injuries.
