Gladstone Man Located Safe, Police Say
Jim Weishan hadn't been seen since Sunday. He reportedly called his family on Thursday to let them know he was OK.
GLADSTONE, OR — Gladstone resident James Allen Weishan Jr. was reported missing when he didn't show up for work on Monday. On Thursday, after news outlets reported him missing, Weishan called his family and let them know he was OK — he just needed to get away for awhile, police said.
Weishan was reportedly last seen June 24 at the Grove restaurant in Oak Grove. When he didn't show up for work the next day, his family became concerned.
Police officials said there was no reason to suspect foul play and that Weishan was simply considered a missing person.

Weishan was reported found by Gladstone officials just before 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
