One Home Destroyed In Sunrise Village Mobile Park Fire

No residents or firefighters were injured in a residential fire that completely destroyed at least one single-wide trailer in Clackamas.

CLACKAMAS, OR — No residents or firefighters were hurt in the house fire at Sunrise Village mobile home park Friday, according to Clackamas fire authorities. One single-wide trailer is a complete loss, however.

Crews from Clackamas Fire District #1 were dispatched to the 15000-block of Southeast Dayspring Lane in Clackamas around 1:15 p.m. May 18. While still en route firefighters could reportedly see a large plume of black smoke, prompting fire officials to call in additional firefighting resources.

The resident of the burned mobile home was reportedly present when the fire began but managed to escape without injury.
