Oregon City Backyard Doubles As Runway for Small Plane In Trouble
It was quite the surprise for a family when a small plane landed in the backyard of their home by the Oregon City Golf Club.
OREGON CITY — Pilots have been known to joke that given enough space, anything can be a runway. That proved true when a plane performed an emergency landing over the weekend, coming to stop in the backyard of a home by the Oregon City Golf Course.
Clackamas Fire crews were on scene quickly and were relieved to find there were no serious injuries.

The pilot of the small, single engine plane was treated and released at the scene while the plane's passenger was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
