Oregon City House Fire Kills One Early Monday Morning

One person died in a house fire on Beverly Road early Monday.

OREGON CITY, OR — One person died early Monday morning in a house fire on Beverly Road in Oregon City.

Emergency crews from Clackamas Fire arrived just after 1:30 a.m. after getting several calls of a house on fire. They arrived and found a one story home with black smoke coming from the windows and heavy flames throughout.

Firefighters quickly entered the home and searched for.residents. They found one person and were able to get the person out. Unfortunately, the person died soon after.

Officials say that they've since established there was no one else in the home at the time.

Investigators will determine what caused the fire, which took 22 firefighters to bring under control.

Details about who died have not been released. There were no injuries to firefighters.
