Oregon Voter Registration Deadline Is 11:59 PM Tuesday
If you live in Oregon and want to vote in the primary next month, you have until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday to register.
SALEM, OR — If you're planning on voting in the primary election next month, and you're not registered to vote, there's still time. But not a lot.
The deadline for registering is 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.
If you want to register or need to update your registration and can't make it to your county election office, you can go online to register or make changes.

As for people concerned about voter fraud — which is practically nonexistent — the Oregon Secretary of State's office reminded people that every ballot has a unique bar code; the Department of Motor Vehicles checks the age and citizenship of everyone who registers to vote, and the signature of every voter is checked.
The primary is May 17.
