'Strides For Seniors' Charity Walk Set For April
The fundraiser is being hosted by Meals on Wheels.
From Meals on Wheels People: Meals on Wheels People will hold Stride for Seniors Charity Walk on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Portland International Raceway. The event is presented by Wilsonville Subaru. This noncompetitive 3K walk will raise both awareness and funds for Meals on Wheels People.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. and will include live music, a Kids Zone, food, entertainment and a Walkers Village with a variety of vendor booths. Scott Tom, from 106.7 The Eagle, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
Teams and individuals are encouraged to register for the event at strideforseniors.org. Awards will be made to the team and individual who raise the most money for Meals on Wheels People.
