Further investigation revealed that Bacon was also involved in a firearm “trade” with Xavier Smith, 23, of Dresher.

Police said Bacon provided Smith with a ghost gun (a firearm without a serial number, assembled from parts or kits), in return for a handgun with its serial numbers removed.

Arrest warrants were obtained for all three individuals involved, police said.

Police said Bacon turned himself in to police on Aug. 13. He was processed and arraigned on the related charges.

At the time that charges were filed, Smith was already in custody for another offense, police said.

Vasquez Jr. has yet to be taken into custody, police said.
