Capricorn Books Holding Local Author Fantasy Panel
The Jenkintown book store will host the event featuring four authors on Friday night.
JENKINTOWN, PA —Capricorn Books will host a Local Author Fantasy Panel on Friday night.
The event promises an "exciting night of magic, imagination, and inspiration," Owner Jackie Botto said.
Capricorn Books said it has gathered four local authors to discuss how fantasy books aren’t just about escaping to other worlds but that they are powerful roadmaps to overcoming oppression, finding hope in dark times, and embracing the extraordinary.

The featured artists include Katrina Lewis, Frankie Diane Mallis, Sheila Masterson, and Victoria Mier.
The event takes place from 7-9 p.m. on Friday.

Tickets are $10.
There will be engaging conversation, drinks and snacks, and a fun costume contest (wear your Ren Faire/cosplay costumes!)
All proceeds will benefit The Attic Youth Center, Philadelphia’s only LGBTQIA+ Youth Center.
Capricorn Books is located on West Avenue in downtown Jenkintown.
