Fourth Annual Heel for Healing Dog Walk Coming to Abington Health
Abington Health Center Schilling Campus will be the site of a doggy parade, contest and fashion show on May 19.

Be on the look out for fancy pups proudly promenading through the Schilling Campus of Abington Health Center this weekend, as dogs and their owners participate in the fourth-annual Heel for Healing Dog Walk.
The event, which will take place May 19, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., will feature a runway fashion show just for dogs. According to a Patch article of the 2013 Heel for Healing Dog Walk event, the Canine Fashion Show, included dogs dressed in either formal or casual attire, such as an “Uncle Sam” costume complete with top hat to a very comfortable-looking dog in dungerees and a camo tank top.
This year, the event has been dubbed, “A Century of Canine Chic,” as the Heel for Healing Dog Walk will help celebrate the Abington Health Foundation Women’s Board 100 Year Anniversary.
