ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The township is partnering with Natural Lands to create a township-wide invasive plant management plan.
Township officials are seeking community feedback and input before the plan goes into place.
A meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Abington Township Municipal Building.

Natural Lands will present information about why invasive plants are an issue in the township as well as potential recommendations for managing invasive plants and restoring habitat across township parks.

Township officials will then seek input about the possible recommendations. That input from the meeting will help guide the creation of the Invasive Plant Management Plan.
