Jenkintown Drakes Make History With Win
The Jenkintown School District said the football team set a major milestone with its win Friday night. Find out what below.

JENKINTOWN, PA —In a remarkable turnaround after their tough loss to Lower Moreland, Jenkintown Football made history on Friday by defeating the Samuel Fels Panthers 20-12.
School officials said the victory marked the first time in program history that the Drakes have defeated a 6A opponent, a huge milestone for the team and the Jenkintown community.
The Drakes’ offense delivered their best performance of the season, posting a season-high 20 points. Leading the charge was Jon Williams, who found the end zone with a rushing score and threw for 74 yards and a touchdown. This marks his most rushing yards since September 2023.

With this win, Jenkintown evens up their record at 2-2. Our Drakes will take on Renaissance Academy at 7:00 p.m. under the Friday Night Lights.
