Pickleball Classes, Weekly Match Play Games Start Tuesday In Abington
The popular sport that's taking the world by storm can be tough for newbies. Luckily, Abington is hosting a series of pickleball classes.
ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Ardsley Community Center in Abington Township is hosting a series of pickleball classes for residents who may be pickleball curious.
Classes start Tuesday for Pickleball 101, and Pickleball 201 classes start Wednesday, Nov. 15.
Pickleball 101 will teach attendees basic techniques and skills to pickleball novices, while 201 will help improve shots, tactics, skills and more.

Each level is six weeks of classes and registration costs $162 for residents and $176 for non-residents. Classes take place from 9 and to 10:25 a.m.
Pickleball 101 classes are held Tuesdays through Dec. 19 and 201 classes are Wednesdays through Dec. 20.

Round-robin pickleball match play starts Wednesday, too. Round-robin match play days will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. Wednesdays through Dec. 20. Registration costs $108 for residents and $117 for non-residents.
