Rockledge Introduces New Borough Manager

John "Jack" Lipsett brings over 30 years of experience to his role as Rockledge Borough's top administrator. He replaces Bryan J. Poster.

ROCKLEDGE BOROUGH, PA — The borough has welcomed a new top administrator.

John “Jack” Lipsett has joined the borough, replacing Bryan J. Poster, who moved on after two years on the job in April.

Lipsett has nearly 30 years of experience as a municipal administrator, working for several towns across South Jersey and the Philadelphia region, borough offiicials said.

"His extensive background in municipal government is matched by his dedication to community engagement and effective public service," borough officials said.

Originally from the Lawndale area of Philadelphia, officials said Lipsett has deep ties to the local community and a solid understanding of the region's needs and values.

He and his wife, Sara, have two daughters.

"He is excited to bring his experience and passion for service to Rockledge Borough, where he looks forward to contributing to its continued growth and success, officials said.

Poster's last day was in April.

Poster resigned to take a similar post in Telford Borough, which he said is closer to home.

Poster said he made a lot of progress during his tenure, including recording council meetings to be stored on the borough's website, improving visibility on the borough's Facebook page, increasing website viewership, of our website, improving the entire summer camp process, and more.
