See which hospitals and care centers in Pennsylvania were among the leaders for maternity care in the U.S.
PENNSYLVANIA — Twenty-two facilities in Pennsylvania are among America’s best maternity hospitals, according to a recent ranking from Newsweek.
Where their baby will be born is one of the most important decisions parents can make, with the quality of care from pregnancy through birth through postpartum and the selection of a doctor and birthing plan at the top of their concerns, Newsweek said with the release of the ranking.
The list of 384 hospitals and maternity care centers are divided into two categories, with 159 institutions earning five-ribbon status and 225 with four-ribbon status.
