Apartment Blaze Renders Bensalem Apartments Uninhabitable: PD
Multiple apartments sustained enough fire and smoke damage to be rendered unlivable. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
BENSALEM, PA - A Tuesday evening apartment fire in Bensalem badly damaged two dwellings in the township, rendering both uninhabitable, authorities said.
Around 6:53 p.m., fire crews responded to the Bucks Meadows Apartments on Knights Road for a report of an apartment fire, Bensalem Fire Rescue wrote in a Facebook post.
The fire was reported just outside the front steps of an apartment building and spreading to the inside.

Two engines and two ladder companies were subsequently put in service, allowing crews to extinguish the fire. However, two apartments sustained enough fire and smoke damage to be deemed uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Bensalem Township Fire Rescue - Department of Public Safety.
