Bensalem residents went to the polls Tuesday to vote for candidates for the Bensalem Township School Board.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Democrats have taken the early lead in Tuesday's general election for the Bensalem Township School Board.
The school board race has focused on debate over a new middle school. The school board recently held off a vote to allow the new school board to make that decision.
Results in Tuesday's general election by the Bucks County Board of Elections are unofficial until they are certified at a later date.

As of 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, 66 percent of Bucks County's precincts had reported their vote tallies.

- Rodger Allen (Democrat) — 4,835 votes
- Marc Cohen (Republican) — 3,801 votes
- Rachel Fingles (Democrat) — 4,889 votes
- Leann Hart (Democrat) — 4,961 votes
- Abby Koss (Republican) — 3,690 votes
- Kate Pascucci (Democrat) — 5,097 votes
- Sheldon Per (Republican) — 3,685 votes
- Lee Schum (Republican) — 3,577 votes
