What's The 20-Year Plan? 'Bucks2040' Meetings Offer Opportunities For Comments, Questions
The Bucks County Planning Commission is hosting several meetings around the county to engage the public on its updates to the county plan.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The "Bucks2040" comprehensive plan has been updated, and planners want feedback from the public.
The Bucks County Planning Commission is hosting a series of open house meetings for the public to ask questions of, and engage in dialogue with, project staff. The commission hopes this will help shape a shared vision for the county's future.
The open house meeting will feature displays on the Bucks2040 comprehensive plan and data on important trends since the last plan update in 2011.

Staff will host the open house meetings at three separate locations, to enable residents from all parts of the county to participate. The meetings will be held from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the following dates and locations:
- Oct. 20: Quakertown Borough Hall (2nd floor Council Chambers), 35 North Third Street, Quakertown 18951
- Oct. 27: Lower Makefield Township Office, 1100 Edgewood Road, Yardley 19067
- Nov. 16: Warrington Township Administration Office, 852 Easton Road, Warrington 18976
The update to the 2011 comprehensive plan aims to set a direction for future policies and programs, focusing on the quality-of-life issues that are most important to Bucks County residents and will help their communities achieve better land-use outcomes.
