Indian-Fusion Pizzeria Chooses Bucks For 2nd PA Location

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —It's pizza with a twist.

An "Indian-Fusion" pizzeria is opening its first location in Bucks County and second one in Pennsylvania.

Pizza Twist will open at the Centre Plaza in Bensalem.

Pizza Twist currently has more than 80 locations across the country, including Pittsburgh and six locations in New Jersey, with the closest in Cherry Hill.

Offering a unique “twist” on the typical pizza menu, Pizza Twist serves up a variety of international flavors with a focus on “Indian fusion” pizza.

The menu includes pizza and wings, pasta dishes, salads, and more. Gluten-free, halal, vegan, and vegetarian options are available.

Customers at the new Bensalem location will enjoy traditionally prepared menu items along with those that reflect globally inspired flavors, such as tandoori chicken pizza and butter chicken pasta, according to Nimesh Limbasia, an experienced business operator and owner/operator of the Centre Plaza shop.

“All our pizzas are customizable, and our entire menu will feature fresh, locally sourced ingredients,” Limbasia said. “Centre Plaza’s demographics, ample parking and tenant mix were attractive to me as a business owner. I am excited to be part of the center and introduce the Pizza Twist concept to the community.”

The 1,700-square-foot lease coincides with four tenant renewals totaling nearly 10,000 square feet, punctuating an active period at the Galloway Road shopping center.

Commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC) serves as leasing and managing agent for the 44,000-square-foot Centre Plaza; LMC Leasing Representative Fred Younkin arranged the latest transactions on behalf of property ownership.

Pizza Twist adds another unique dining option to Centre Plaza, noted Younkin. The property already features Slim’s Irish Pub, Tako Japanese Restaurant, Great Indian Kitchen, El Limon Mexican Taqueria and A&S Bagels. “Pizza Twist is a growing chain and a fantastic fit for the neighborhood – we look forward to its opening,” he said.

Pizza Twist lease coincides with several lease renewals at Centre Plaza.

In recent months, an orthopedic practice, Penn Community Bank, Salon 724 and LabCorp. all have renewed their commitments, totaling more than 10,000 square feet at the property.

“These renewals – spanning a range of uses – speak to Centre Plaza’s position as a business address where tenants thrive,” Younkin said.

Centre Plaza also serves as home to Ryan Wagner’s Martial Arts & Fitness, M. Rani Eyebrow Threading & Spa, Team Sports Zone and Kathy’s School of Dance, among others.

The property serves a population of about 98,000 people within a three-mile radius.
