Lane Closures Coming To Bucks Co. Roads Next Week: PennDOT
U.S. 1, Rockhill Drive, and Bristol Road in Bensalem and Middletown townships will see lane closures from next Monday to Thursday.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Several Bucks County roads will see lane closures this week as construction crews begin work on several roads in Bensalem and Middletown Townships, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The closure will affect U.S. 1, Rockhill Drive, and Bristol Road from this coming Monday through Thursday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

Monday Through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- A single-lane traffic pattern with flaggers will be in place on Rockhill Drive between Old Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Boulevard. This will be for the installation of a stormwater drainage system.
Tuesday Through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

- Intermittent single-lane closures with 15-minute traffic stoppages will be in place on northbound and southbound U.S. 1 between Route 413 and Neshaminy exits. This will be for blasting and excavation on the road.
Tuesday Through Thursday, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Intermittent 15-minute traffic stoppages will be in place on Bristol Road in both directions between Old Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Boulevard during blasting and excavation on U.S. 1.
Those traveling these roads at these times should make extra time to compensate for closures or find a different route. All scheduled construction projects will be weather dependent.
