Man Shot On I-95 In Bensalem

The shooter was in a dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee, the victim told police.

BENSALEM, PA — State police and other authorities are on the lookout for a gunman who shot a man on Interstate 95 in Bensalem early Saturday morning.

Pennsylvania State Police were called at 3:50 a.m. to a report of a shooting in the southbound lanes of I-95 in Bensalem.

The victim, a man, was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he was treated for his wounds and released, according to police.

He told police that the shooter was in a dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee, which continued south on I-95 after the shooting. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the state police branch in Trevose at 215-942-3900.
