Man Charged In 2 PA Turnpike Shootings In Bucks County

Two separate shootings that occurred on the turnpike in March have been traced to the same suspect, police said.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Pennsylvania State Troopers charged a Montgomery County man for his alleged involvement in two separate shootings that happened on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in the Bucks County area.

Troopers arrested Andre Kenny Mark Green, 29, of Fort Washington, on Friday, April 1 at 6 a.m. at his job in Fairless Hills.

According to troopers with the Troop M Criminal Investigation Unit in Trevose, Bucks County, Green shot at a Ford F-150 March 15 around 2:20 p.m., with officials locating two spent shell casings at the scene along Interstate 276 westbound.

Then, on March 21 just before 3 p.m., troopers were again dispatched to westbound I-276 in the vicinity of Mile Marker 347 in Bensalem Township for a reported shooting, and once on scene, authorities found two projectiles inside of that victim's Kia Forte.

Neither victim required medical attention, police stated.

Green was charged with four counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault, as well as possession of a firearm when prohibited, fraudulent use/removal of a registration plate, firearms not to be carried without a license, display plate card in improper vehicle, reckless endangerment, and harassment.

Fox29's Steve Keeley posted pictures of the vehicle and a man believed to be Green, which were taken by the Pennsylvania Criminal Intelligence Center.
