New Bensalem Irish Pub Replaces Old One Ahead Of St Patrick’s Day
Slim's Irish Pub will inhabit the former spot of Brady's Irish Pub in Bensalem's Centre Plaza, offering classic pub food and drinks.

BENSALEM, PA — As St. Patrick's Day draws near, Bensalem will see one Irish pub replaced with another Irish pub in Centre Plaza.
Slim's Irish Pub, a new establishment located at 2195 Galloway Rd., has replaced Brady’s Irish Pub, a long-time Bensalem staple. The pub has been rebranded and renovated under its new ownership.
With a grand opening on Saturday, March 5, the new lease was negotiated by Leasing Representative Fred Younkin of Levin Management Corporation, which serves as the exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 44,000-square-foot Centre Plaza.

“Centre Plaza shoppers and local residents alike have long appreciated the presence of an Irish restaurant at this location,” said Younkin. “Slim’s Irish Pub is a fully modernized, contemporary concept that has broad appeal, and we are thrilled it has opened its doors here. We are confident Slim’s will be a traffic-driving destination for the shopping center and a great addition to the local restaurant landscape.”
The new pub is the result of a partnership between Bensalem resident Kevin Beard, who formerly operated the Domino's Pizza franchise store in Centre Plaza, and Vince Finazzo.

“We’ve created an amazing atmosphere for patrons in this completely renovated space, including having one of the largest TV screens in the area,” said Beard.
“Our menu is comprised of bar food as well as classic Irish favorites, in some cases with a twist. Standouts include our famous lamb chops, and a Shepherd’s pie made from scratch. We also have a wide selection of high-end tequilas.”
The new pub is named after Beard’s father-in-law, Thomas Lally, a thin Irish man whose nickname was "Slim." The tagline in the restaurant’s logo – “It’s a Lally Thing” – also pays homage to Lally, who passed away in 2004.
“I was a tenant at Centre Plaza for 20 years and raised my family in Bensalem,” said Beard. “As a long-time patron of Brady’s Irish Pub, I feel connected to this location and look forward to Slim’s Irish Pub being part of the community for many years to come.”
