Police Seize 26 Pounds Of Marijuana In Bensalem

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem police arrested a local man who was in possession of 26 pounds of marijuana with intent to deliver.

Clifton Douglas, 37, of Bensalem, was arrested on Monday, March 7, after police entered his home on Konefal Street by the use of a search warrant.

During the investigation, police found and seized 26 pounds of marijuana, along with concentrated THC, psilocybin mushrooms, and other drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is in excess of $70,000.

Police also found approximately $21,000 in cash, a Yamaha motorcycle valued at approximately $7,000, and a Rolex watch valued at $44,000.

Douglas was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver and other related charges. He was later arraigned by District Justice Regina Armitage and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $150,000 bail.
