Route 1 Paving Planned Overnight This Week

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that paving is scheduled overnight this week on Route 1 in Bensalem and Middletown townships under a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.

All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

The work is part of PennDOT’s U.S. 1/RC2 contract that will reconstruct and widen U.S. 1 from south of the Rockhill Drive Interchange to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 Interchange.
