Street Road Reopened Following Firetruck Crash: Police
The head-on collision, which involved Bensalem Township Engine 222, left the driver of an Amazon Prime van in critical condition.
BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Police have reopened Street Road between Hulmeville Road and Knights Road following an accident that involved a local firetruck and an Amazon Prime van.
At 3:38 p.m. on Thursday evening, the Bensalem Police Department reopened the road after it had been closed for several hours following a head-on collision between Bensalem Township Engine 222 and an Amazon Prime van. The accident occurred around 11 a.m. on Thursday.
All the firemen involved have been reported as unharmed, but the driver of the other vehicle was reported as being in critical condition. The Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania confirmed that the van driver was entrapped as a result of the accident.

The roadway was closed for several hours so an investigation could take place.
