TD Bank Branch Closing In Bensalem Township
TD Bank is closing more than 20 branches in nine states across the country, according to federal filings.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP — TD Bank is closing its branch in the township, among 20 that are shutting down in nine states in the country.
The bank branch closure is the second in the region with a Bucks County after closing a branch earlier this year. In May, TD Bank announced it was closing its branch in Hatboro in nearby Montgomery County.
In recent federal filings with the Office of the Controller of the Currency, TD Bank listed several locations for closure, including branches in South Carolina, New Hampshire, seven in New York, Vermont, two in Maine, and two in Massachusetts.

The other Pennsylvania closings are in Skippack, Bethlehem, and Allentown.
According to a filing with the federal Office of Comptroller of the Currency, the bank's branch on Hulmesville Road in Bensalem will be shut down. A closing date was not disclosed in the filing.

The bank said in a statement that it regularly evaluates its network of branches to in order "to best serve our customers through an optimal mix of convenient TD Bank locations and digital banking products and services.”
Michelle Benitez, a Bensalem Township councilwoman, posted on the Bensalem Proud Facebook community page that she managed the Hulmeville branch from 2015 to 2022.
"It’s sad to see it go," she said. "I’ve worked with and met so many great people in our community through my time at this branch."
TD Bank U.S. CEO Leo Salom emphasized the bank’s commitment to evolving its model and enhancing customer experience, despite ongoing discussions with U.S. regulators regarding an anti-money laundering investigation. TD aims to open nine new branches and renovate almost 100 more in 2024, maintaining its long-term growth strategy.
