U.S. 1 Lane Closures In Bucks Co. For Construction: PennDOT
Several roads in Bensalem and Middletown Townships will see lane closures from Tuesday to Thursday. Read below for all the details.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced several lane closures in Bucks County that will begin on Tuesday and wrap up by Thursday.
U.S. 1 and Bristol Road in Bensalem and Middletown townships will see lane closures related to construction activities designed to "rebuild, widen and improve U.S. 1", according to a statement from the organization.
The planned closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for three days. The areas include:

- U.S. 1 between the Route 413 and Neshaminy interchanges. Intermittent lane closures with periodic 15-minute traffic stoppages will take place for blasting and excavation.
- Bristol Road between Old Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Boulevard. Intermittent 15-minute traffic stoppages in both directions will take place for blasting and excavation operations on U.S. 1.
Those traveling these roads at these times should make extra time to compensate for closures or find a different route. All scheduled construction projects will be weather dependent.
