U.S. 1, Street Road To Close Lanes For Construction: PennDOT
Construction activities will result in lane restrictions in Bensalem and Middletown Townships. Read to know which roads will be affected.

BENSALEM, PA — U.S. 1 and Street Road will see lane closures this week as construction crews begin work on several roads in Bensalem and Middletown Townships, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
All road closures will be held each night from Monday until Friday. Closures and restrictions will begin at 8 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. the following morning.

- Alternating single-lane closures will be in place on northbound or southbound U.S.1 between Old Lincoln Highway and the Neshaminy Exit for paving, line painting, and other construction activities.
- Northbound and southbound U.S. 1 will each be reduced to a single lane between the Neshaminy and Highland Avenue exits for bridge beam setting and median paving.
- Alternating single-lane closures will be in place on eastbound or westbound Street Road (Route 132) between Old Lincoln Highway and the Turnpike Slip Ramps for paving, line painting, and other construction activities.
Those traveling these roads at these times should make extra time to compensate for closures or find a different route. All scheduled construction projects will be weather dependent.
