BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced traffic stoppages on U.S. 1 in the areas of Bensalem and Middletown townships for construction this weekend.
Intermittent 15-minute traffic stoppages will be in place on U.S. 1 in both directions between Rockhill Drive and the Route 413 Interchange. The stoppages will last from 6 a.m. Saturday morning to 6 p.m. Sunday evening.
The construction is a part of a larger project to widen almost three miles of U.S. 1. The construction of new structures over the Neshaminy Creek and over rail lines near the Penndel exit will be built as a part of the project.
