Year In Review 2024: Businesses That Opened, Closed In Lower Bucks Co.
The Neshaminy Mall was sold in Bensalem. Two Amazon Fresh stores also opened.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Amazon Fresh finally started opening stores that looked like they would never open, including two in Lower Bucks County. Meanwhile, the Neshaminy Mall was sold to a company with plans for its revitalization.
As 2024 comes to a close, Patch took a look back at some of the business comings and goings of the past year in Lower Montgomery County.

Neshaminy Mall Sold To Company With Ties In Lower Bucks
The Neshaminy Mall —a longtime Lower Bucks County shopping mecca —was sold in late June to a company with ties already to Lower Bucks County and the Philadelphia region. (Read More)

2nd Wegmans Supermarket Opens In Bucks County
In March, Bucks County's second Wegmans supermarket opened at 925 Vansant Drive in Prickett Preserve. The location is Wegmans’ 111th store overall and the 19th location in Pennsylvania. Another Wegmans is located off Route 611 in Warrington. (Read More)
Amazon Fresh Opens 2 Stores In Lower Bucks County
Amazon Fresh finally opened stores that were planned but delayed for some time. During the year, two locations opened: one on Street Road in Bensalem and the other in Langhorne. (Read More)
Arby's Opens Warminster Township Location
While one existed on Street Road near the Bensalem Township line, another Arby's location opened on Street Road in Warminster Township in October. Arby's opened in the building that once housed Saladworks in front of the Giant Shopping Center at Center Point Place. (Read More)
Landmark Restaurant Georgine's Put Up For Sale
"Same Owners, Same Good Food." The owners of the landmark Georgine’s Restaurant at 1320 Newport Rd. in Bristol Township say they're sticking around for a while. Owners of the family-owned restaurant since 1977 that was put up for sale earlier this year said the business is open and has not been sold. (Read More)
MaGerks, Nifty Fifty's Expand Into Bucks County
In February, MaGerk’s Pub & Grill, the popular eatery with locations in Horsham and Fort Washington, announced plans to expand into Bucks County and also open another restaurant in Montgomery County. Meanwhile, Nifty Fifty’s —a 1950s-style diner known for burgers, cheesesteaks, and milkshakes —was planning to open a second Bucks County location.
