Ke$ha to Headline at Musikfest Aug. 10

Chart-topping superstar Ke$ha will take the Sands Steel Stage at Musikfest when she headlines the festival Saturday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the concert are $44 and $59 and go on sale Tuesday, March 12, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest Members and Friday, March 15, 10 a.m., to the public. They’ll be available at musikfest.org and 610-332-3378.

With hits such as “TiK ToK,” “Take It Off,” “Blow,” “Your Love Is My Drug” and “We R Who We R,” Ke$ha has been a mainstay on the pop and dance charts since her debut album, Animal, in 2010. 

She first grabbed attention in 2009 by singing on Flo Rida’s hit “Right Round,” but with the release of Animal, Ke$ha  became a household name. The recording topped the Billboard 200, producing several hits including the number-one smash “TiK ToK.”

Over the past three years, Ke$ha has earned numerous honors for her work, including Billboard, MTV Europe and BMI Pop Awards. In 2010, she captured four Billboard Awards, including Hot 100 Artist, as well as a People’s Choice Award for Top New Artist.
