
A 21-year-old manΒ who was at large for seven months was brought backΒ to Lehigh County Thursday to face charges of shooting and killing aΒ 21-year-old manΒ as he walkedΒ past a strip club on the border between Bethlehem and Allentown.
Ulysses Rodriguez, 21, was arrested about one week ago in Suffolk County, N.Y. He wasΒ brought back to Lehigh County by Det. Richard Heffelfinger of the Lehigh CountyΒ District Attorneyβs Homicide Task Force and Bethlehem Det. Jason Fulmer, according to a release from the district attorney's office.
Rodriguez, whose street name is Slime, was arraigned at noon Thursday (Dec. 5) by District Judge Wayne Maura of west Bethlehem on a charge of criminal homicide, according to online court records.
The records note that the charge is a "non-bailable offense," meaning Rodriguez was committed to Lehigh County Prison.
Police allege that Rodriguez gunned downΒ Tyree Wimberly,Β who lived on Alice Street in Allentown, on the street outside of Scoobieβs Gentlemanβs Club, 2327 Hanover Ave., Allentown, at about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 26.

An eyewitness told police there wasΒ a confrontation at Club Avenue and Eaton Avenue after Rodriguez offered to sell marijuana and Wimberly refused to buy, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
The witness said he saw the shooter pull a handgun from his waistband in the back of his pants and point it at Wimberly, according to the affidavit. Then the witness said he heard several shots before Wimberly walked toward the entrance of Scoobieβs and collapsed.

The shooter then fled, the witness told police.
Wimberly died a little more than two hours later at St. Lukeβs University Hospital in Fountain Hill. The cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.ΒAuthorities filed a charge of criminal homicide against Rodriguez on April 23, according to online court records.
