Woman's Death in Bethlehem Township 'Suspicious'

The death of a woman at a home along Country Club Road in Bethlehem Township has been labeled “suspicious,” according to published reports.

The death is being treated as suspicious because of the age of the woman, according to The Express Times.

Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli told the newspaper that he believes the woman is in her 20s. Authorities have not released the woman's identity.

The Morning Call reports that the woman does not live in the township, but was visiting someone who does, citing Township Police Chief Daniel Pancoast as a source.

Northampton County Coroner Zach Lysek was called to the scene this afternoon, the newspaper reported.
