Canonsburg Agenda Posted, Council to Act on Library Agreement

Canonsburg Council meets for its voting meeting at 7 p.m. tonight—Monday—in the borough building.

Among the items up for a vote is a 10-year agreement with the Frank Sarris Public Library.

Borough Manager Terry Hazlett said the new contract regarding annual payments to the library was presented to council at its meeting last week.

It is almost identical to the current contract, which calls for an annual payment of .000320 times the assessed value of property in Canonsburg or $12,000—whichever is greater, he said.
