'Consignment Couture,' a Philanthropic Mission

Where better to host a fashion show than the Bella Sera event venue? And, it supports a good cause. 

Saturday at 1 p.m. the WOMEN of Southwestern PA, Inc. and consignment shop will join forces to host a "Consignment Couture" fashion show, which includes lunch. 

Known for her selective designer apparel, and Gucci, Prada and Coach purses, owner Coleen McKenzie will be featuring sportswear, casual and business attire, and evening wear, according to Julia Black, publicity chairwoman for WOMEN.

Prom dresses will be modeled because the shop has done well in reselling prom gowns, many of them with original tags. Several jewelry vendors from Peters will present also, Black said.

Tickets are $25, which includes lunch. They are available at both of The Savvy Fox locations in Peters or Mt. Lebanon. Those interested in more details may also call 724-941-0984 for reservations.
