Grocery Chains Offer 20-Cent Gas Perks

Giant Eagle and Shop 'n Save customers are offering a gasoline promotion through Wednesday, May 29.

Customers who spend $50 using a Giant Eagle Advantage Card at Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagle stores, including the Giant Eagle on McKinney Lane, will receive double fuelperks! at GetGo fuel and convenience store locations.

In a similar promotion, Shop 'n Save shoppers will receive 20 cents off per gallon of gas for every $50 they spend on groceries, including the store on W. Pike Street.

The promotions come just in time for the Memorial Day holiday weekend, when millions are expected to travel the nation’s highways.
