UPDATED: Two Dead in I-70 Crash; Tractor Trailer Driver Jailed on $1 Million Bond
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said in a release Saturday evening that both victims died from multiple injuries after an accident just after noon.

Two people have died in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in South Strabane Township Saturday, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said in a statement.
The names of the victims have been withheld pending the notification of their families, but both died from multiple injuries, according to the release.
“The victim was a passenger of a Dodge sedan traveling eastbound on I-70. A tractor-trailer, which was traveling westbound, crossed the medial and struck the victim’s vehicle, driving it through the guardrail and over an embankment,” Warco said in a statement.

The operator of the vehicle was also a fatal victim of the accident, Warco indicated.
There were a total of three vehicles involved in the crash, and others who were injured were taken to area hospitals by ambulance and medical helicopters from the scene.

The Observer-Reporter has indicated that the driver of the tractor-trailer was arrested and jailed Saturday.
Online court records indicate that Yevgeniy Bugreyev of the state of California was arraigned by Robert Redlinger and remanded to the Washington County Jail on $1 million after being charged with two counts of vehicular homicide.
State police are investigating.
