North Strabane OKs The Street at the Meadows Shopping Center

A big step forward for the new shopping center planned next to The Meadows Racetrack & Casino.

North Strabane commissioners approved the conditional-use application for The Street at the Meadows last week, according to the Observer-Reporter.

The plan includes a four-story building that would allow 90 one- and two- bedroom apartments on the top sloors, as well as restaurants and office space.

The project is expected to be finished in spring 2014, according to the report.
