Obituary: Elinor Jean Jaudy, of Canonsburg

Elinor J. Jaudy, 85, of Canonsburg, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 in Canonsburg General Hospital.

She was born April 22, 1927 in Altoona Juniata, a daughter of Herman and Miriam Esterly.

She was a member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, and the Eastern Star.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a nurse’s aide for McMurray Hills Manor.

On Jan. 28, 1948, she married Earl R. Jaundy, who survives.

Also surviving are her daughter, Linda Hill (Bill) of Chartiers Township. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by her daughter, Miriam Jaudy, and her son, Robert Jaudny.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Sollon Funeral Home located at 30 E. College St. in Canonsburg.
