Updated: Two Injured in North Strabane Crash

A Washington County 911 supervisor said one person was ejected from the vehicle during the late-Tuesday crash.

Two people was injured after a crash on Linden Road in North Strabane Township Tuesday night, North Strabane police said Wednesday.

Police said the crash happened when the driver hit an embankment and then a telephone pole.

The names of the victims were not released Wednesday.

One victim was ejected from the vehicle during the one-car crash, a Washington County 911 had confirmed Tuesday.

A landing zone was being set up in a nearby park for an emergency medical helicopter to transport one victim to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. The other was taken by ambulance.

North Strabane Fire Department and North Strabane Police Department were on scene, the supervisor said.

No further information was immediately available late Tuesday.
