When Brad Jox called Canonsburg police late Thursday, he said he originally thought there was garbage lying in the driveway of his Arlington Drive home.

But it was a woman he told police was intoxicated.

Jox told police that because of that, he had “almost run her over” and that when he tried to speak with her she “stumbled away” and was lying in a yard a few doors down.
